A remote village easy to access
ESA Birambo is located in the middle of the
countryside of Rwanda. It lies in the village of Birambo, in the
Gashari sector, Karongi district, Western Province.
Birambo welcomes many primary and secondary schools including the
Groupe Scolaire St Joseph (the old school of Law and Administration)
and the Urumuri Secondary School. In total, we have around a thousand of students
in this village.
Birambo is on the new road Kibuye-Nyanza. To get there, you can
use
the ONATRACOM bus services (twice a day) from and to Kigali, or
take taxis
from Kigali (every hour in the morning). There is also the new line
Nyanza-Kibuye, whose busses pass through Birambo every monday,
wednesday and friday.
